Hardware Accelerated Video Content Analysis and The Internet of Things. How This Works for Surveillance
Hardware acceleration from the NVIDIA and Intel video analysis based on neural networks and the Internet of things is changing system integrators and installers to CCTV.These advanced technologies are already available on the market. They are rapidly transformerait our near future, and new opportunities to participants in the IP industry. The most important task for service providers of security systems and video surveillance – to keep up with the speed of change and to figure out how to work together and influence each other. In my presentation I will try to paint you a clear picture of what role the hardware acceleration, the Internet of things, and neural networks will play in the surveillance systems of tomorrow. And what actions you should take today to achieve success in your career and bring results to your company.

Connecting Smart Cities: Intelligent Video Surveillance
The speech is devoted to a new word in the technologies of building and organizing security networks. The idea is based on the use of radio channels in the license-free frequency band (the so-called E-band) for video surveillance tasks within the smart city. Features: 1) no need to pay for allocating frequencies; 2) absence of interference, interference; 3) the ability to build gigabit channels that meet the increasing demands of modern communication lines. Technology, which brings to the next level the very concept of "smart city" and makes it possible to deploy video surveillance, even where there are no cable communication lines.

Improving Data Transmission Speed and Fault Tolerance over Global Networks
Currently, in the age of popularity of the Internet and a variety of content, including video, in HD-quality can hold gigabytes, the most acute problem of high-speed file transfer over the network. As an example we can consider the news station where the reporter, being on another continent, must quickly convey shot in high quality report to the Central Studio for processing and airing. Or, for example, in the case where a floating drilling rig where there is only satellite channel, should convey a cube of geophysical data drilling wells for interpretation in high-performance computing centers, each day of delay can lead to losses. In the report I will talk about the means to achieve maximum transfer speed, regardless of storage location, their size, number and complexity of files to be transferred, and usage - whether the data replication between the data centers, simple transmission point to point, unidirectional, bidirectional transfer, etc.

Services Powered by Smart Cities
City "smart" will not by itself, need a "smart" products at the right price, of which, in fact, will develop a "smart" city. Connected the meters to the utilities, connected cars, road infrastructure and so forth – by themselves do not need anyone to monetize all this "connected" only in the case if the consumer will receive a product that is better and cheaper than a product based on "unconnected". So you need to go back to the beginning: to determine the appearance of a competitive product, develop cooperation chain creation of this product, to determine the nature of technological and economic relations between participants of the supply chain. Only in this case we can talk not only about budget but also about the ultimate consumer demand as a source of funding for the transformation of cities in smart cities. The report will consider approaches to solving this problem.

Why Identity Management in the Cloud?
With the advent of the Internet of things, cloud computing, digital transformation of security objectives modified. I will discuss how modern technologies allow the owner of business, the departments responsible for the protection of the assets to form an independent view of the risk management processes, internal control and audit, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of the allocation of responsibilities with the aim of reducing unproductive downtime in the business and increase revenue.

Video Mointoring and Control Systems for Geographically Distributed Infrastructures. Passive Surveillance to Active к активному Response
In my presentation I will share experiences related to issues of large distributed monitoring systems, will talk on the need for automated response in distributed systems monitoring and control, will highlight separately the human factor as an additional risk.Due to the large number of sources of information, such as video cameras, sensors, warning systems and access control systems, system operators, it is difficult to make a decision to resolve the incident and the time to escalate it to the responsible. Postincident response often enough, it does not solve the problem of reducing and eliminating losses. A proactive response can save money by minimizing risks and helps to ensure the control of compliance with the SLA contractors.
