Shinya Kukita received his B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo University in 1981. After he joined NEC Corporation in 1981, he engaged in the development of Optical Transport system and Network Management System as well as in the product planning of various network systems. Currently he is responsible for technology marketing of NEC’s international business including telecom and social solutions such as Software Defined Networking, Big Data, IoT and Smart Society. He is a regular speaker in various international events.
